Grayling is caught in lakes, large and small rivers - you may choose your favorite way of fishing. It is caught with a fly, worm/grasshopper and with a spinner. As a rule it bites well and very often! Its average size is 30-50 cm, and its weight is between 0.6-1.5 kg. Ggiant graylings can be caught in lakes - up to 80 cm long and weighting up to 3.5 kg.!!! It is common in northwest Mongolia, in Khubsugul area and in the northeast of Mongolia.



Osman is caught with a spinner in lakes, rarely in large river backwaters. Its average size is 50-80 sm, weight - between from 1 to 5 kg. Lucky ones "take" trophy specimen up to 1 m long and weighting up to 12 kg!!! It is reeal to catch 5-10 of 3-5 kg beauties in one morning!!!

Summer fishing in Mongolia. Fishing spinning and flyfishing big grayling and belogolovka.

Day 1 - Departure from Novosibirsk, in the evening we will be in our camping Aak - Telengit in Chyiskoy steppe, 80 km from the border.
Day 2 - Crossing the border. Moving to Bayan-Ulgii - the center of Ulgiyskyi region in Mongolia. Official registration the departure in near-border zone with China. In the town there are interesting museum and Asian market.
Day 3 - Drive160 km to lakes Dayan-Nyr and Hara-Nyr. In the evening we can try fishing.
Days 4,5,6 - Fishing on the lake and in the river. You should to infumate fish. It helps you to export to the border. Grayling is 1,8-2,5 kg and osman 3-7 kg.
Day 7 - Coming back in to Bayan-Ulgii.
Day 8 - Crossing the border and returning to home.

The short program
Day 1 (Friday) - departure from Novosibirsk in the evening.
Day 2 (Saturday) - crossing the border and then drive to the town Bayan-Ulgii.
Day 3 (Sunday, Monday) - fishing near the river Cobdo. Grayling about 2 kilos. Pass the night in the tents or in an ordinary hotel.
The temperature +20 day, at night -7 degrees. In the morning come back to near-border town Bayan-Ulgii.
Day 5 (Tuesday) - Crossing the border and returning to home
We offer you the hunting and fishing in Yakutia.

Fishing: taimen, grayling, arctic loach, lenok, limba.
Hunting: bear, Yakut bighorn sheep, deer (caribou).

Flyfishing Festival in Siberia in 2-4 of September 2013


The Festival is held on the river Biya, in village Dmitrievka of Turochak region of Altai Republic. FLYFISHING FESTIVAL REGULATION.

2 September (Day 1)

9.00 Meeting of guests and participants of Festival in Dmitrievka. Registration of the participants, training in the river
9.30 Opening ceremony
10.00 Competitions on casting
15.00 Start of the first tour of fishing
20.00 Finish of the first tour

3 September (Day 2)

9.30 Making baits
12.00 Start of the second tour of fishing
16.00 Finish of the second tour
17.00 Sum up the results, awarding the winners. Closing ceremony. Departure of guests and participants.

Fishing will be held on the river Biya. Fishing is from the shore. Grayling must be no less than 18 sm. For every checking grayling is counted 100 points plus 1 point for every gram of the fish. The winner in personal exam is recognized the participant who receives maximum sum of points for two tours.
